The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. - 2 Chronicles 33:10How serious does that sound? It sent chills up my spine when I read it. For the people of Judah, their lack of listening led to much pain.
However, a few verses later in the chapter you can see that the pain led to repentance which led to forgiveness. God is good to humble us, even when we don't desire to pay attention to Him.
